I replaced the shift linkage seal and unscrewed the linkage to get the old seal out now i cant get the linkage back on cant find the threads did it move on me
Yes the gear shift lever with the threads moved.
You'll need to take the upper part of the unit off and insert the rod and then put the rod through the seal.
