I have a 1998 50hp 4 stroke 4 cyl. outboard that I have been trying to find the correct water pump kit for with no luck, any help appriciated. Engine serial number 0g620866 Engine model number 1998 50ELPT 4S I pulled the lower unit, no part numbers on the current waterpump that I can find however the part number on the impeller is 47-85089-10 I purchased this motor used so not sure it is even the correct impeller. I am replacing due to a alarm at idle rpm (500-800) doesnt overheat at high rpm but does spit water all the time, thermostat is good (I did check already) and not the issue.
