Just checking in to see if anyone came up with a simple mod to add a rocker switch to the end of the tiller throttle for thumb use? My motor is only a few years old and every time I go out wish I had this. Especially for slowly sliding over logs at slow speed during hunting season. Usually have a Q beam in other hand so it gets awkward reaching back to that trim box farther back on handle.

Bet you could............This comes as part of a tiller conversion kit I believe for your motor. I'm sure though, a DIY could be made up in some why shape or form using what the manu offers as a model to launch your idea/s off of.

Short of just buying this thing, thinking perhaps a guy could just parallel wire off of the OE switch that is in the trim box, make a clamp-on bracket that mounts on the tiller pipe and positions a auxiliary water proof'ish rocker switch near your thumb. i.e., position yours where the manu has the one in this kit.......

Thx Sam... on those new tillers wow didn't realize they still didn't mount the switch on end for thumb use.

I hope to visit my dealer soon. They are very familiar with some of the swamp challenges we have here. I know they will mount a 2nd remote rocker switch around my seating position. But sure would love it for thumb instead.
