50 hp Yamaha Carb adj

I have a 1995 Yamaha 50 hp that I have cleaned the carbs on. What should the fuel adjusting screw be set at after being bottomed? Thanks,<br />BEn

Hi Ben,<br />Try 1 1/2- 2 turns out and go from there. Turn each slowly and evenly about 1/8 turn, in or out, until you get optimum results.

Now if you wanted to be real technical, 1 3/8 +- 1/4.
