I have a 50 hp force.I took the cowling off and the foam was loose and falling so I took it out.What effect will this have on the engine.Thanks Rcollins.1989 model

It will be louder and maybe breathe a bit better.<br /><br />I don't think you will notice anything but the noise.<br /><br />Good luck. :)
