50" Fulton Boat Guides

Anybody have these? Are they tough? Like....can you bang your boat off them in a strong current or wind and power onto your trailer?

Just looking at the way they're mounted, wouldn't they just keep falling forward? It's just a round tube held on by a u bolt....that can't work too well, can it?

the fulton is the best on out there. they have a lot of spring in them.

I've had that exact style on my trailer since the early 80's and never had a problem, they are flexable with just enough spring to force your boat into position if it get out of line, I would suggest them to my friends.
Also to answer your question they do have flats on the mouting part, kinda squarish after that last radius bend and they give you alluminum channel and ubolts for mounting, the channel fits snug around the square section of the post.
