50 degree turning BFP60 Honda question???

Hello everyone... it has been some time since I have been here but I am back... I have a 74 Starcraft Holiday... stripped to naked and rebuilding... I have purchased a Honda BFP60 engine which has a 50 degree turning radius... Question is ... Will my factory steering work on a 50 degree turning radius???

So now I have been asked to give Honda the Boat HIN# and it does not have one... I am told that it is older than 1972... here is a pic of the pilots reg.(file is to large?) the plate next to the pilots wheel does not have a Vin or registration number... I am perplexed... if it is pre 72 would the plate have a serial number???
