I am baffled at the fact that my trailer has 5 wires going into a 4 pole plug???
Colors: Green (Right, brake light); yellow ( Left, Brake light); then i have 2 black wires and white ( trailer ground).
I plug my standard 4 pole tow vehicle plug into it and all i get is the right turn signal, brake and running lights on right side and brake light on left side!!! the side markers also blink with right or left turn signal..
Really strange, there is no brown wire, and why is there 2 black? I assume that the lights are not grounded to the trailer, they must be grounded to the black wires.
Trying to convert to Green, Yellow, Brown, White with out buying new wiring! any ideas on how to hook them up correctly?
The trailer is a 1986 EZLoader.
