my buddy is trying to sell his 91 21.5ft four winns, said it had a 5.8 in it.. didn 't get much info . just wondering if that is an OMC or a Volvo....I'm hoping Volvo but for the price possibly $5000 I'm thinking its OMC
It's OMC. Not the SX style drive.
An easy test is to look at the engine. If you see the ESA module and shift interrupt switches it's a Cobra.
But the Volvo style didn't start till late 93 or 94.
did mercruiser use a 5.8? There is still snow on the ground here but I can't wait for spring, I"ll have to see if I can get a hold of him to find out some more info. I really hope its not an OMC
