5.8L 1995 Volvo Penta Engine Tune-up impossibilities

I am facing the challenge of trying to locate parts to tune-up my antique 1995 Larson 19.4 with a 5.8L Volvo Penta engine. Why antique? In 1996 Volvo Penta stopped using Ford engines And now the plug wires, etc., are getting harder and harder to find. Any help from Forum Friend would be greatly appreciated.

Your engine parts will be very similar, if not the same, as many ski boat engines by Indmar, Crusader, etc.

Have you checked out iboats parts? They do have aftermarket or OEM, whichever you want

Contact Volvo pents customer service I was told the same thing. Turns out my model number 58faphue was an old unused number and crossed to 58fihuece and there are parts available.

same problem with my 96 ford 5.0fi NC model. tried sierra plug wires, didn't work despite what the book said. I'm pretty sure you can buy spark plug wire by the foot and boots from places like summit racing.
