5.7 Bravo 2 raw water pump.

I have decided to replace the impeller in the raw water pump since I already had the intake tube off (what a bear that was)for winterizing. Today I removed the pump whch is the multi piece unit (older style) that has 2 wear plates and 3 gaskets. I would pefer to use Merc parts when at all possible, which lead me to my questions. I can not seem to find a Merc impeller kit so if I want to use Merc parts I would need to purchase the individual parts to the tune of about $60. So does merc make a kit? The Sierra kit is like $30, any Good? Re-use wear plates? and just buy the impeller and gaskets. I hope to get this back together next weekend so I closer her up for the winter. The sierra kit I got was just fine. The housing definately weighed less than the Mercruiser housing. And you can flip the wear plates over one time, before you have to replace them.
