5.0 Volvo FL question..

i have a 1995 Four Winns Horizon 190 with a 5.0 FL Volvo Penta SX Outdrive. Boat has always been stored inside and has ran like a top. Last summer we noticed that it seems to be lacking power on the low and top ends. It used to run almost 47 mph at 4800 rpm. Now is struggles to reach 40 and get above 4200 rpm. The prop is the stock prop and has never been changed. Where should i start in gettting it back up to par?

Tune up, change fuel filters.

well the first time we really noticed it was the end of last season..so we have not done anything with it other then winterize it, its really something we'd like to take care of before we take it out this season... however the boat has not received a formal tune up in a few years, it also seems as though it is running a little rich....
