I have a 2000 5.0L Mercruiser (220 HP, SERIAL # 0L684279) with DENSO ignition module. I want to check the timing. There is procedure for Thunderbolt IV and V in the manual but not for DENSO. Do I have to put DENSO to "base timing mode"? If yes, how?
