I want to pull my boat and winterize it in my driveway. I then will take it to the dealer for some wanrranty work on the boat. I would like to put the boat back on the lift in my slip. I can push it into the slip with a small jon boat that the harbor master has. I won't start the boat engine. My question is: will these steps push water to the inlet end of the raw water pump. The boat is only going to go about 100 yards in my harbor and then up on the lift. I have a beautiful spot on the Mississippi River that I keep the boat and even in the cold of winter we make frequent trips to the boat.

It shouldn't but you know how that works. Just disconnect the water hose that goes through the transom from the inside. Block off the tube going through the transom shield and move the boat. Just remember to hook it back up when you get it put away, you could forget about it by spring.
