5.0 gi engine block starboard drain plug

I was locating my drain plugs using the shop manual and noticed on the starboard engine block drain, I have a wired sensor going into one side of a brass Y connector, with a brass plug on the other. Common sense tells me not to mess with the sensor or the entire brass Y connector and just remove the brass plug to drain. But it looks like the plug has not been removed in any recent history and doesn't even show signs of having a wrench on it as most brass that I work on does. So should I remove the whole assembly? Any good advice is appreciated! :)

That is the knock sensor. Just remove the plug and drain. No need to remove the whole assembly.

Thanks for the input Kblaster, it looks like fairly fresh liquid red sealant was used around the brass Y fitting going into the block, so I wasn't completely sure what to do.
