I know that I'm a couple days late for this. Since we were out on the St. John's River in a boat, I not only got to watch the local fireworks, I got to watch Jacksonville's, Green Cove Springs, At. Augustine, and several other small cities fireworks display. It was so AWSOME! You could look all around you (360 degree rotation) and see fireworks going up from over a hundred locations. I kid you not! We could see Jacksonville so many miles in the distance, and their show was quite spectacular. But what struck me the most was that I couldn't keep my focus on any one place for there were millions of fireworks. Dozen were coming from people's docks out on the river. Hundreds of fireworks came up in several areas over where Palatka was. I can't possibly explain what I witness. There was so much going on, I had far more fun than I would have it I had fireworks for I would be focusing on my own fire works, rather than the awsome display.
I notice that most of the fireworks were colors of: Red, white, violet, maginta, purple, green, yellow, and orange, but rarely any blue fireworks...Hmmm, what's up with that?
Anyways, I had a blast. Anchoring out in the middle of the St. John's River gave us an awsome view of everyone's around us.
