4HP Mariner - Will Not Idle - Thanks, Sorta

To those who were kind enough to offer suggestions with my idle problem, thanks very much. I do have a manual but it doesn't go into any real detail about the fuel system, other than the idle and fuel mixture screw adjustments, which I have already made according to specs. I will take the carb apart and clean it as suggested, then give it another try.<br /><br />To the "expert" who chose to critique and accuse me of whining rather than offer any real assistance, I do have a manual.. and you still don't have any answers.

Neil, I am sorry you were offended by a perfectly clear suggestion and chose to WHINE, and I'm sorry you don't understand what a low speed jet is. You withheld a lot of information. Someone who is confused about what a low speed jet is usually doesn't have a manual or can't read. They need to say, "I don't understand..." instead of WHINING that you are, in some way, being cheated. If you say that you don't understand, you will get help. If you whine, you will get what that deserves.<br /><br />Keep in mind that these people on this board are offering you hundreds of bux worth of help..FREE. A little appreciation goes a long way.
