Has anyone converted a Mercruiser 470 or 3.7L engine to electronic ignition using the PerTronix Ignitor or Ignitor II ? Was PerTronix coil also used? I would like to hear about successes, and or problems...thanks in advance for your responses.

I have used the electronic conversion, but not the coils. seems to work well and some of the units are 6 or 7 years old, with no failures--Bob
