I'm looking for some help I'm very technically inclined but when it comes to boats I'm lost. So I bought a boat it needs some work and I'm thinking the lower unit needs replaced. On my removal of the lower unit I had what looks like a spacer and gasket drop out and I'm not sure if I need them or not? I'm planning on putting a lower unit in from a 92 mariner and I'm curious if anyone knows if this will work they look slightly different? Also I can't seem to find the serial number accept for one that doesn't seem to match up online?? Help! Thanks!
