I suggest marine antifreeze at full strength for winterizing. PG antifreeze is GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) where EG antifreeze is poisonous.

The hose from berkely runs underneath , splits up to front bottom of hardin exhaust baffles- this surely wont drain the block. Can i pour antifreeze in thru the thermostat housing ? Berkely is h 2484 1976

If you have a wet vac, then you can likely suck out the water.
One of my block drains snapped off, so I had to pull the intake and could not drain it, but a wet vac was able to suck out enough to drop the level low enough to pull the intake.
I keep antifreeze in the engine year round, which is FWC.

instead of a brass plug, the engine had a cast iron 1/4 pipe thread plug and the top is completely sheared off on one side of the block.
