So I had to replace one of my exhaust manifold gaskets, and while I was looking around at things that might need replacing I realized my water hoses are antiques.

I have a 1988 24' Formula with a replacement Marine Power 454 that was installed in the 00s (by a previous owner.) It has a crank mounted raw water pump (Johnson.) The hoses leading to the manifolds were no problem. The other 2 (the bigger ones) I can't seem to find.

I created a solution for the circulating pump hose (the j-shaped one) by purchasing the only hose still available which hugs the block and the lower hose is at the wrong angle. I also bought a 1 3/4" double male connector and 6" of 1 3/4" silicone radiator hose and used about 4" of it at the top hose mount. This both pushed the hose farther away from the block and corrected the hose angle on the bottom. This was necessary because another component of my engine swap, the electric fuel pump, had a bracket right in the way. My spacer gives it an inch of room. I also pulled the spring from inside my old hose and shoved it down the new one before the connector.

Now onto the hose I can't find. The hose from the raw water pump to the thermostat housing. It has to pass behind the belts so the routing is critical. Anyone know what a suitable replacement is? Seems like this should have been used on enough inboard boats that this hose or a workaround should be available.

Thanks.
