Tiara 3100 is a beautiful, well built, and heavy cruiser... <br /><br />Spent my day in the engine compartment of a 3100 Tiara with twin 454/350hp crusaders, mostly cursing at the engine mounted fuel filters.. <br /><br /> Anywhooo... Top's 30 knots @ 4400rpm.. Thats right where it should be, and thats about all you'll ever get out of it without some very major engine mods, or upgrading to diesels.... With all of that comes the need for new props, shafts, and other equipment.. It adds up $$$$ quickly... Too much HP can snap a shaft, which is not pretty... <br /><br />My advice... Keep the bottom clean, keep the engines tuned, cruise at 20 knots and be happy.... Whats the big hurry anyway...
