when I shift my 1975 45hp into forward, it hesitates, then clunks. is this normal?
I just ordered a rebuilt lower unit due to the pinion gear being ground down pretty bad. Before I fire the new one up, I will put gear lube in and that should be it? right?
If I hear/feel the "clunk" again, what do I do?
