431A Volvo Penta 1992 Stock or after market?

I need to know what you guys think about after market risers and manifolds. I am being told that GLM galvanizes there stuff prior to painting and Volvo does not. This makes me think that I should go with GLM plus they are $100 cheaper than Volvo. The draw back off course is how compatible is compatible. What is the general consensus on these types of after market parts?

I looked into this issue, just recently, the parts supplier that I got my manifolds from, said that they had some fit issues with the GLM manifolds,and no longer carried them, so I bought the brand ( HGE ) that they had for the same price, and they had the same warrenty, 3 years, both manifolds are made in China, anyways as a consumable item, it will get replaced after that time frame anyways, IMHO
