Chris stopped marinizing Ford's in the mid 70's. I'm not sure if you have a 429 or a 428 side oiler.<br /><br />You can id a side oiler by looking at the block just above the oil pan. If you see bolts going straight into the block perpendicular to the crank-it's a 428.<br /><br />The 429's were rarely marinized. Most marinizers used the 460.<br /><br />The 429 and 460 share nothing in common with the 428.<br /><br />If it is a side oiler it's worth some $$$ to a Cobra enthusiast. Probably not worth restoring for marine use unless you want to keep the boat absolutely original.<br /><br />Give me some #'s from the block and I'll see if any of them make sense.
