40hp Johnson VRO-won't fire @ plugs but starter works ok

My 1988 VRO 40hp Johnson won't start-
ck'd motor 20a fuse-ok,all 12v connections@ battery-ok, starter spins but no spark @ either plug !
this motor has always fired up after winter storage with no problems...whats up ?

Well for starters check your emergency kill switch and make sure you didn't trip it.

i already bypassed kill switch yrs ago....so guess my problems are @ power head side of wiring...?

Do you have a neutral start switch? If so, try jumping it.
