40d2 powerhead

I put a suppossedly good powerhead on my motor, sounds terrible, removed auto oiler and have run double and more oil it it so far. Not much running at all just to test it on the water hose. Excessive whirring sound.

Sounds like crank bearings. Is there anything short of pulling crank that may help? Any addative, ANYTHING?

Thanks Guru, I was pretty sure that would be the answer, just wishfull thinking is all.

Would you run it like it is or send it off now?
