I have two of 40 hp Mercury Oil Injection Outboard. I would like to know the year of the.
The first one is OC201830 and the second outboard is OC280916 both of them made by Mercury Marine USA. OC280916 has the low compression on the third piston so I would like to take the power head of OC201830 to put on it. Then rebuild the power head OC280916.
Both of them look the same but I just want to know if I could switch it.
