Hey, haven't been here for a while, so stay with me. This engine is on a 2003, Suntracker Pontoon. Prepped my motor for
sale and it ran fine. Turned it off for a month without starting it, but last week I tried, but the ignition switch would not turn. I just changed out the switch disconnecting/reconnecting one at a time. Reinstalled the switch, but still dead. Checked the fuse off the battery and it is good. The emergency cutoff switch is intact. The motor trim switch, on dash & on motor has no power. Is there a fuse somewhere else or something that I'm missing?

Just disconnect the instrument power lead from the present ignition switch terminal (which is probably the start position) and connect it to the "run" terminal. You can find this terminal by turning the switch to the first position and, using a voltmeter or 12v test light, touch it to a terminal that is live (12v) then turn the switch off - if the light goes off that is the one if not choose another one; connect the wire(s).
Most ignition switches have a common, run, start, positive and negative terminal. This is just an example probably not the same as yours.ignition-switch.jpg
