40 HP Merc made in Australia. Only have seraial number, need year, Also reverse cam .

Have a 40 hp merc, serial number only 8070826 made in australia, cant find year. Also the reverse cam on shift control in fo ot was off. Have one how to install it. Do put shifter in neutral and center it. Put in new impellor when found problem. Thanks.

8064750 is the starting serial number in 1980 and the last year I can find in my mercury service bulletins.
