40/50hp lower unit

i have an 86 50hp yamaha, lower unit is bad. i found a 94 40hp for sale, will this fit? thanks for your time

Boats.net lists your lower unit as 6H4-45300-12-EK and the 94 as 6H4-45300-12-4D, not sure what the differences are, sent you a PM.
