4-way flat connector vehicle side mounting bracket?

I would like to try and find (or fabricate if necessary) a small mounting bracket that I can mount to my aftermarket hitch bar and will securely hold the 4-way flat wiring connector on the vehicle side. I know they make 4-way round connectors attached to a mounting bracket but with those I would have to splice it into my existing vehicle side wiring as well put a 4-way round connector on the trailer side.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Those cable ties that are made of plastic that you cinch up will hold the flat connector secure. You may need to drill a couple of holes to run it through or fabricate a small bracket to secure the plug to.

Thanks. I found a couple inexpensive things online that I think will work together...a round 4-way flat knock-out adapter and the bracket it fits into.

I am constantly amazed by the people that are on this forum. How cool is it that craze1cars had this website for exactly the right bracket?

Rottenray, I'll let you in on my super-duper secret if you scroll down. Everybody else stop reading now.
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-

OK...I don't think anyone else is watching, so here it is. I went to Google, typed in "4 pin trailer bracket" or something like that and nosed around at what popped up for about 30 seconds.

shhhh....don't tell anybody else about how I work my magic....

I have to admit that I had a head start (I bought that exact bracket for myself at an AutoZone about 3 years ago) so I at least knew it actually existed.

Yes it is amazing at what Google can find. My problem is that I sometimes get too anxious and post my question before I Google. :)

Tahoe Bob,

I see people are giving you crap on your question, but don't despair...that bracket will keep you from yanking out your car-side wiring one day!
