Anybody running a 4 stroke tiller on a 14ft
aluminum? I have an older Meyers aluminum boat 62"beam, transom is 58 X 19inches. I intend to use the boat in the river, back bay, and inland coastal on good days. I bought a new 18 hp 4 stroke (115 lbs). Hope it ain't too heavy. Hope to get in tighter spots than my 18ft CC.

Thanks

Now that's what I like to hear about! A guy that has a boat which runs on dry land, in the front yard, tilling a flower bed! ROFL! :D

Good one TxRiverRat, I knew the extra weight
would be good for something.

I had a 25 Honda (150 lbs.) on a 14 ft. Sea Nymph (boat was rated for 35 HP), and it worked fine.

Is your boat rated for the weight?
