4 stroke oil filter

First I'd like to say this is a great board. Now that said, anyone know where I can order an oil filter for my 4 stroke 15 hp. evinrude online. I would like to be able to cross reference it to other models maybe. I've been told Suzuki made this motor for omc. Thanks for any help, Rick

I think you will find that this was OMC's motor not Suzuki's. anyway, go to www.boatered.com. They have an on-line store.

Pretty sure all Evinrude 4 strokes were made by Suzuki. Doesn't mean that a Suzuki oil filter will work, they may have specified a filter of their own design.<br />For the price of an Evinrude filter vs the price of a new engine go for the OEM filter.
