OK, well it was 3 degrees C this morning in the kitchen window at 0700, just got back from town and there it was "SNOW" around the 5000 foot mark (2500 foot above us)

Man, its way to early for snow!!!!!

geez, and i thought if i ever leave ns, i would move to bc....the province with no winter!!! guess i'll have to re-think that plan. on the plus side...its been a record setting warm summer here, and its supposed to continue well into the fall.
...guess the west coast aint the best coast afterall!

22-25c for the next week starting tomorrow. (30 in the OK valley)

Yup, same here. A/C is still blowing strong because of the humidity. Supposed to be in the low 30's tomorrow. I don't remember cold temps this early when I lived in B.C. Mind you I was at the north end of Van Island.

I have a couple of mates I served with in the Air Force. One is in Osoyoos the other is in Oliver. They have been after us for years to move out there. That is the true banana belt of Canada. They call it Canada's desert.

YUP, the end of the OK valley is smokin hot in the summer but dry heat.
Rattle snakes and black widows and the occasional scorpion (plus what ever came in from the bananas) BAHAHAHA!!




Can't remember were you were posted Comox or Holberg?, did them all as a 052.

Possibly our first substantial mountain snow of the year above 9000' which is about 2000' above me, should get the Elk moving!!

rbh. i spent a month out on the big island in june .was too friggin cold for me.but i tell you if i win the lottery, hope ,fernie ,montana and wyoming are all going to have a camp for me .stunning scenery out their .
