Hello, I recently bought a 4hp Johnson Seahorse with a fiberglass prop on it that is pretty beat up, and I was woundering if I should stick with the fiberglass or get a different one. And what size would be best. Thanks.

Post the model year, serial and model numbers, then we can help.

The serial and mod. numbers should be on a tag on the clamp bracket. Or, a silver dollar looking plug on the engine block.

2 sizes available...8-1/2X7 and a 8-1/2X9..
Now the question is what pitch do you have now, and which prop will put you the closest to the max RPM range.
What kind/size/style boat are you using this on??
