4 blade prop question

do you need power trim to make a 4 blade prop work correctly....I have a VP 280 no P/T

Thanks...I normally run a 3 blade 15x19 stainless prop with decent results..just need a bit more bottom end...WOT is 40 mph at 4400 and realize I will lose some up top but thats OK......

a Shop near me has a 14-1/4 x19 4 blade aluminum for a good price but no returns.......in your experiance what would the smaller dia. get me on this 4 blade......

boat is a 2150 cruiser...3500 lbs

No ....No Power trim....its a volvo 280

I have Trim Tabs though for leveling out the boat, just not the Drive

305 v8 how big is the boat and heavy along with length

280 drive without power trim....never had it.....don't come with it

There is a long hub prop that should, if i have payed enough attention to Wh should get you a good amount of lift and put you into a good rpm band. I have no ideal if you have a long hub or short hub........ how's about you....

Yes it is long hub.......Thanks I have never seen that page.....all I have seen is the standard VP Props
