I have a 4.5 (I believe 1985) serial #6608900 that does not pump water. I would like to check the impeller. I was wondering how to pull the lower unit. Specifically how the gear linkage is connected. Does the powerhead need to be removed to disconnect linkage like the old 50's omc's or is there linkage mid-shaft? Thanks for any responses...Jim
