4.5 hp Suzuki Age.

I am looking to buy a 4.5hp Suzuki little Auxiliary motor and went to look at one.<br />It's No was C-14405812 and looked quite old..<br />But started cold 1st time and ran well.<br />Any way of telling when it was made ?<br />It is metalic blue all over except for cover and has forward / reverse lever on starboard side.<br />Made in Japan.

I believe you have a 1977 model 4.5 hp as denoted by the letter"C" in the model number.

Thanx for your replies. I ended up buying a Suzuki with eng no 610849. It is a DT-6 twin <br />6 hp. Very nice and clean Any Ideas on this age.<br />Doesn't look that old.
