My manual refers me to an authorised merc dealer for special instruction to time this engine. Well, I don't have the full manual (yet), and it is sunday.<br /><br />Can anyone fill me in on what the apecial instructiosns are to time this engine.<br /><br />1997 4.3LX Merc, carb - I imagine the referenec is to ground out an automatic advance unit?
