I've visited the Marine Max dealer where I bought my Sea Ray and brought-up the problem which I have been having with this engine (not starting after it's been running for a while). Apparently there is a problem with the 4.3L engine and a vapor lock is occurring. Mercruiser has designed a "Fuel Cooler/Pump" to install which is supposed to fix the vapor lock issue. My question is, has anyone installed this Fuel Cooler/Pump? If so, how labor intensive is it and can someone without much boat repair experience install this pump?
