After a bit of rock bashing i need a new prop, i have found a sticker in the manual with the boat quoting penta part number 3817472, before i order one can anyone confirm this is indeed the correct one?
Is there any numbers on the prop itself?
Penta lists it as a 3 blade prop 14.8x17lh
Engine and drive new in 2009.

Thanks

Volvo prop # 3817472 is listed as a 15 X 17 Left Hand Rotation. The standard (right) rotation 15 X 17 ends in 67.

Does your SX drive use a left rotation prop?

It's hard to tell due to the water clarity, but it appears that the blade I can see is oriented as a left hander.

Turn the prop by hand and see which direction it "pushes" water.

I believe it is 1-1/16 inch. (or 27 mm?)

I can't tell from the photo due to the water clarity, but it appears that I am seeing another (a second) drive to the left of the one near you that's tilted up.

Is this a twin engine set up? If that is the case, it is common (preferred)for them to be counter rotating; that is, one turns right while the other turns left.

Jestor, no its just a single engine boat, i think its the reflection of the water then off the bottom of the bathing platform.

Quick google and i didnt know this very site sells spares! 120 pounds to my door, less than 50 percent off the uk price.
