I have a 2000 Volvo Penta 4.3gi that was not winterized properly (my mistake), and after much contemplating I?ve decided the job of a complete engine replacement is too much for me to handle. I am going to ?bite the bullet? and have someone else do the work.
I do however have a couple questions for the forum:
? Ballpark price to have a long block 4.3 Volvo dropped back in
? Any thoughts on new vs. refurbished
? What type of warranty can be expected
? Any major concerns to be aware of
