I recently purchased a 21' Marathon with a 4.3 V6 OMC and I need info on engine. Engine model #423BPFTC and serial# 0941248. The B in model number may be incorrect. Is this a right of left rotating engine and does anyone have any info or a web site pertaining to this specific engine?

Right rotation is standard. You can buy repair manuals at any boat store. Parts manuals are often offered on eBay. There are plenty of these engines around.

when seen from behind in forward gear, a right handed prop turns clockwise and a left hand turns counter clockwise.......on single application, right hand is most common on twins they will always be right and left........

hello , engine rotation is determined by looking at the engine from the flywheel end. if it turns counter clockwise that is a left hand rotation ,which is what all stern drive engines run be it omc or merc.now you can have left and right props but this is done in the drive.
