4.3 running great accelerated slowly died. No power at key, no click, nothing.

Was running great, new Coil, new timing with jumper, new Carb with electric choke, fresh non ethonal. New Battery's, fully charged, (2). On acceleration it acted sluggish then lost power and died. No sputter or pop or bog, just died. Tried the ignition, nothing. No gauges either.

Use your multimeter and see where you have voltage and where you don't. As mentioned in the 2 posts above, you've got your initial things to check and see where that leads you.

Aren't boats fun? :rolleyes:

new batteries do not mean good batteries. test them
battery connections need to be inspected and maintained
as indicated, check where the voltage stops.
