4.3 Plug Gap

Does anyone know what the Spark Plug Gap is for a 98 Merc. 4.3. The plugs are NGK BPR6EFS. The Boat is a 1995 but I had the Motor Changed & the Service Manual I have is for a 93-97 4.3 & I don't know if they are the same Gap. The Plug's up to 97 are NGK BPR6FS @ a .40 gap.

If you actually have a 98 engine, you need manual #25. You can download it up in the Adults Only sticky at the top of the forum.
If your engine takes the BPR6EFS plug, it should be gapped at .045.
