Hello names chris new to iboats i have a few questions as im stumped. my question retains to a 1996 4.3 mercruiser lx gen 2+ serial number 0k038002. I am having issue with oil pressure guage reads 0 psi. i have researched that my engine has 2 pressure sensor 1 located off the port side of engine installed on a tee and is said in the schematics this is an audio pressure sender for an alarm of some sort just off the same tee is the pressure switch for the fuel pump i cant for the life of me find the other location. was told it could be located at the rear of the engine port side by the distributor.
I installed a small engine mechanical pressure guage where the tee is located and turned engine over the guage peged but only went to 20 psi as thats the max of the guage i then removed the guage and left it unpluged and turned the engine over and a solid stream of oil came shooting out so im assuming that i have ample oil pressure. when i turn the key to the on postion my guage pegs then when i start the engine it drops to 0psi any information that can be provided as to the location of the oil pressure sender location would be appreciated. the engine runs good and dosent make any clunking or valve chatter that i can hear just dont want to mess the motor up thanks!

On the tee on the side of the motor is 2 switches, one for alarm one controls the fuel pump. Your gauge sender is next to the distributor ans should have a light blue wire going to it.
