4.3 L Engine Manual

Any ideas where I could get an engine manual for a 4.3 L Gm Cobra engine?New or Used would be fine.The engine is a 1986/87.Appreciate any help.

GO to Amazon.com and get a Clymer or Seloc manual. They make a shop book for every engine/outdrive out there. These are WAY better than the factory manual than came with the engine. Good Luck

Check on Ebay in Canada, see them there quite often, most marinas carry them, even Canadian Tire. Sorry but have to disagree about the Seloc and Clymers being better than original, they try cover off too many years and too many variations, does a decent job especially if thats all you have but the factory manual is better in my opinion.

True, the Clymers and Selocs cover alot of ground, but I have yet to see a factory manual that tells you how to overhaul your strendrive from the ground up. Now, if you're talking about factory shopmanuals, those do tend to be more helpful, although harder to find. Anyway, checking ebay as Bob said is a good Idea as well.

My Seloc details complete disassembly and reassembly of the cobra and king cobra, both upper and lower units, including specifying all special tools needed.
