in my opinion no. you can spend 2 grand to change some things to maybe gain 2 mph more and thats it. better to play with props.

1. No where near 2 grand to do that.
2. In a marginally powered boat (and a lot are) 20 HP would make a world of difference.
3. No prop change is gonna give you horse power.

paying someone else to do it, should only be about a grand, or do it your self for half or less.

you could add vortec heads into the equation for a very strong 4.3

I'd do it, that 4.3 will come alive. haha You'll definately notice a difference. What is it powering? Boat make,yr, size?
