I think I have a 89' Mercury 80h.p. The serial # is OC125362. I am wanting to remove the oil injection and premix the gas, 50:1 right? What is the best way to go about doing this or is it better to leave it alone?<br />Thanks
Allot of people convert from oil injection to premix. If you are not feeling too good about the oil injection or just have that bad feeling...disconnect the system and the alarm wire. Premix you fuel as you would any other outboard and be sure to label somewhere in the engine comartment that it is disconnected. This will prevent any future people from forgetting.<br /><br />Bob
